“Tindall has been great to work with. There has been a lot of excitement about precast concrete in the K-12 market because it is a sustainable product that makes our buildings easy to construct.”
Robert Ferris, AIA, CEO/President Shuller, Ferris, Lindstrom and Associates
BLUFFTON HIGH SCHOOL Bluffton, SC
“Precast proves that you don’t need to stand in a field and build with sticks in order to construct a high-quality structure. Precast invites a different way of thinking about construction. In much the same way as large ships and spacecraft are built, precast construction uses large components that are manufactured in controlled conditions and brought to another location for final assembly. We found this method saved time and money and even provided more consistent workmanship, when we designed Bluffton High School.”
Jay White, Architect, Liollio Architecture
RIVERSIDE HIGH SCHOOL Greer, SC
“Tindall Corporation was a terrific partner on the new Riverside High School project. Its engineering support was outstanding! The architecturally integrated brick patterns, together with an insulated sandwich panel, provided both aesthetic value and the thermal efficient construction the owner needed. The speed of construction on this project was a key factor in choosing precast concrete panels for the structural system. Tindall was a great team player, and PEA looks forward to working with the company again”
Alan A. Lumpkin, P.E. and Partner, Professional Engineering Associates, Inc.
JACK BRITT HIGH SCHOOL Fayetteville, NC
“The precast concrete with a thin brick veneer allowed us to create a refined look at a fraction of what the building would have cost using other types of construction. We’re thankful Tindall decided to take on this very challenging project.”

“Riverside High School was a tremendous undertaking, as it is one of the first LEED schools in the Greenville, SC area. The school’s precast concrete structural system was a benefit in many ways to the successful completion of the high school. The inherent thermal efficiency, bolstered by insulated wall panels, and moisture control of precast, provided a leg up on LEED certification. Plus, the precast wall panels eliminated the need to finish interior walls, saving time and helping the school meet LEED requirements. The fast track schedule of precast was the most contributing factor to meeting the completion schedule of Riverside High School.”
Keith Burran, Senior Project Manager, Institutional Resources (InRe)
HARDEEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL Hardeeville, SC
“Tindall’s single-source, total precast concrete building system reduced our liabilities, cut down coordination between trades and significantly condensed our schedule. I know I can count on an erection schedule provided by Tindall, compared to traditional construction schedules that can be adversely impacted by other trades and weather. This allows me to efficiently plan a project. Plus, precast structures–having been produced off site in a plant versus on site as with masonry and steel–yield a facility of unmatched quality and longevity. With Tindall partnering on our projects, we know we will be able to maintain our budgets. Once precast costs have been established, they remain constant.”
